Bulova Tristan I Brass Desk Clock, Model B8818

A floating Roman-numeral dial on a polished brass frame with a spinning pendulum underneath — the single object that makes a desk read as a study rather than a workstation. Bulova has sold it long enough for the review history to mean something.

Good to know: Polished brass rather than antiqued, so it is brighter than the aged finishes elsewhere on this list, and it shows fingerprints.
