The everyday taper for a table you actually light on a Tuesday. Unscented matters more than it sounds: brass-holder corners are usually already carrying a room scent from a candle or a diffuser, and a scented taper on top of that turns the whole thing muddy. Cotton wicks, roughly seven and a half hours each.

Good to know: Paraffin-and-palm blend rather than beeswax, so there is none of that faint honey smell and they burn faster and drip more than the Big Dipper tapers above. Reviews are middling on straightness — expect to warm and true a few bases to seat them in narrow holders.
